Guthrie Jensen Consultants conducted a series of management training program on Management Development Skills, Supervisory Development Skills and Proactive Leadership Skills. All Civic Merchandising supervisors, managers and assistant vice presidents were given the opportunity to participate in the training to improve their people handling skills and manage respective departments more effectively.
Art de la Cruz, consultant for the said firm made sure that the training was lively, interactive and a learning experience. He went beyond the usual theories and charts and used practical methods in carrying out workshops and group activities. It was indeed a great learning experience for the management staff of Civic. According to Mhiner Ramirez, former manager for Materials Department, “Because of the training, I now have the confidence to utilize and develop the skills of those working under me“.
